Led by the dynamic Rev. Richard Fragomeni, the 2016 Advanced Seminar in Liturgy offers to those involved in the preparation and celebration of wedding liturgies an opportunity to come together for several days of exploration, discussion, and renewal. Bring your experience, your wisdom and your stories as we look ahead to the implementation of the Order of Celebrating Matrimony and get practical concerning celebration, planning, rehearsals, cultural customs, and music.
For musicians and liturgists, priests and deacons, and parish wedding planners and coordinators.
Offering greater detail and more opportunity for discussion than a one-hour—or even a one-day—workshop, the Advanced Seminar in Liturgy provides an opportunity for in-depth consideration of an issue that significantly impacts the Church’s liturgical life. Participants will be asked to do some reading before arriving—and to come ready to engage! The Seminar may be taken as a workshop or for one semester credit. (Additional assignment required for credit.)
